Recent advances in genetics and genomics, in particular the sequencing of the human genome, have dramatically accelerated the pace of research in this area. Genetics and genomics are currently the major drivers of medical research, and promise to lead to advances in diagnosis and treatment of both rare and common disorders. Implementation of the many advances in genetics requires a well educated and talented workforce of genetics professionals. The Training Grant in Genetics has made possible the opportunity to offer training to physicians and scientists in a wide variety of topics in medicl genetics, enabling them to take advantage of the extraordinarily rich academic environment present at HMS and its affiliated institutions as well as the greater Boston scientific community. In addition, it has served to promote interactions between medical geneticists and investigators and provided a forum for increasing faculty contact with trainees in didactic sessions. The proposed program provides postdoctoral research training in medical genetics with an overall goal to train future academic leaders who will apply this knowledge to an understanding of human genetic disorders. Through rigorous training in the principles of genetics, trainees will exploit recent advances in genetics and genomics to discover the pathogenesis and pathobiology of inherited disease, and to use this information to improve human health. Understanding the etiology of heritable disease will lead to molecular classification, inform risk of recurrence and facilitate development of novel and more effective therapies.
The Matchmaker Exchange: A Platform for Rare Disease Gene Discovery
Jump to navigation. Rare disease investigators constantly face challenges in identifying additional cases to build evidence for gene-disease causality. The Matchmaker Exchange MME addresses this limitation by providing a mechanism for matching patients across genomic centers via a federated network. The MME has revolutionized searching for additional cases by making it possible to query across institutional boundaries, so that what was once a laborious and manual process of contacting researchers is now automated and computable.
However, while the MME network is beginning to scale, the growth of additional nodes is limited by the lack of easy-to-use solutions that can be implemented by any rare disease database owner, even one without significant software engineering resources. Here, we describe matchbox, which is an open-source, platform-independent, portable bridge between any given rare disease genomic center and the MME network, which has already led to novel gene discoveries.

Jump to content. The penetration is just simply not good enough to penetrate even some same tier heavy tanks, trying to penetrate higher tier heavy is impossible. Seriously, you can not even penetrate T With the combination of horrific accuracy, you can not even hit weakspots. By the way, on Sandbox server they are nerfing all guns with 0. T32 is just really bad at dealing damage! As a bonus, each AP shell cost credits, you lose massive amount of credits for ammo each game, so missing shots is even more painful.
Get closer and flank enemy? While it is faster than KV-4 or Lowe, most of other heavy tanks are faster than it Alright, enough talking about damage dealing, let’s talk about the armor , it is heavy tank after all right? Starting with hull armor, it is not very good The upper plate has only around mm, so don’t expect to bounce any tier 8 heavy actually even mediums can pen you after the buffs. On top of that, T32 also has really weak machinegun port and lower plate, which are only mm thick.
T34, the tank T32 should have been

You are invited to join Bloomberg’s Summer of Puzzles! For the next nine weeks starting on August 7 a new online puzzle will become available every Friday at pm ET.
If you miss a week, don’t worry! Puzzles from previous weeks will remain unlocked throughout the duration of the 9 weeks. All released hints will remain available for the full 9 weeks. Solve the weekly puzzle to earn points and monitor the leaderboard to see if you are one of the top scorers! If you solve a puzzle after all hints have been released you can still earn the maximum number of points, but your ranking will be below those who completed the puzzle before you.
T32 Matchmaking Solved!
The composition of tanks in each team is a task of matchmaker. It works in following manner. It takes one tank from the queue and looks at his tier. For example it is IS – russian heavy with tier 7. The matchmaker takes the corresponding line from the table below and sees that the IS has battle tiers from 7 till 9.
Ah the T32, one of our all time favourites! Thank you Hunter Yazzie for sending over this awesome result!
Issue is related with current SQB configuration. I’m not talking about British tanks because I don’t see them too much in SQB, they have best pen from all tanks but they are all slow but since SQB changed they are also in use. Pershing is worse due to frontal plate angle and mobility. Super Pershing again: mobility and armor. Personally i think this one should be back at tier IV. Please vote and leave your opinion.
Open for discussion. Still this idea is good to keep in mind. Tier IV is requirement for squadron battles and now we have clear p2p situation because we have 2 identical tanks but you can use only premium version is SQB and Tier IV will not change anything for M46, br, income etc The T32 was at one time T4 but it was moved because it was op in squadron battles then moved to 7. Give it the E1 remodel and the extra shells there you go. But hard telling when will see that happen.

How to Use NIH Matchmaker
John T. However, serendipity has never proven to be a reliable or scalable approach in science. As such, the Matchmaker Exchange MME was launched to provide a robust and systematic approach to rare disease gene discovery through the creation of a federated network connecting databases of genotypes and rare phenotypes using a common application programming interface API. The core building blocks of the MME have been defined and assembled.
Usually the guilty one is game built-in matchmaking system, which selects players to opposing teams. Within this mechanism each tank in the game has so.
Who is eligible for a diversity supplement award? Parent awards: The PI must have an active NIH award, typically an R01 or R35, that has at least one year left before it is due for a competitive renewal at the time of the start of the supplement. More information is listed here. Trainees: The trainee named in the diversity supplement application must identify as belonging to a race or ethnicity that is underrepresented at UCSF.
This includes racial or ethnic groups identified by the NSF as underrepresented in science as well as other groups not on that list but that have been recognized as underrepresented here such as Filipinos. Alternately, if the individual comes from a financially disadvantaged background or has a disability, he or she may also qualify. Importantly, most NIH Institutes do not allow a trainee to be listed as a diversity supplement candidate if they are already listed as personnel in the budget section of your parent award.
Ideally, the candidate would be a new member of your lab who has not received any salary support from the parent grant, but exceptions can sometimes be made. What types of positions can be funded? This depends on which institute you are applying to.
